The Seattle Municipal Court suppressed methamphetamine blood test results in DUI cases due to contamination at the WSP toxicology laboratory. The Washington State Patrol admitted that the lab had become contaminated due their production of methamphetamine for experimental purposes; however, they claimed to have remediated the problem. This litigation was part of our ongoing efforts to hold the state accountable in DUI cases and make sure that those accused of DUI are treated fairly.
